Post for Kelsey

Funny story. So my good friend Jacki Lee Walker called me and said that she, Rob and Adri were coming down for an evening and that they wanted to visit. I was so excited! But then she called Friday afternoon to say that things had changed. Apparently Jacki has been waiting for this blender to come out - some blender that blends like no other; even blends a cell phone! So she said that the Costco in SLC wasn't going to be getting this blender until late Spring, but the Provo Costco was supposed to get it that day; she called and found out it had not come in. So of course I was sad that I wouldn't be able to see her. So after work I went to do errands. I needed to get a few things at Costco and went to the back to get some Dr. Pepper for Drew and what do I see? THE VITA BLENDER!! (now, this isn't its exact name, but its more exciting than just "the blender,") Anyway, I immediately call Jacki and tell her that its here. So she, Rob and Adri pack up and come down.

Oh no the story doesn't end there...I get to the front to verify about the blender because there was no one at the display place. The lady said "oh no, they're not here. That is just the display." I was like "WHAT?! You're kidding me! I have someone coming down from SLC area for this?!" I call Jacki and they were already at the point of the Mountain and decided to come down anyway and would check it out, and still see us. I felt so bad! You can ask Drew...I felt horrible for telling someone that this item they had been waiting for was here, and then to bring their hopes down that it wasn't.

About an hour later, I get a text msg. from Jacki... "Got it!" So it ended up to be a good trip after all. Jacki got her blender, and I got Jacki, Rob, and Adri. She was so cute while she was here...she has really grown since I saw her last at the wedding. She's "speaking", dancing away, smiling, and the sweetest hugger (if that can be a word). Palo Alto Get Together

So every few months, the Palo Alto gang likes to get together. January, we met up at my apartment. Since I didn't go home for Christmas, I haven't seen most of these friends since Thanksgiving. So it was nice to see everyone.

So there were a few people that didn't grow up in PA, but any roommate and member of the Stanford ward becomes a part of the glorious PA reunions. Laura and I look forward to planning the March get together!!!

How long have you been together? 1 year and 9 months

How long did you date? 1 year and 3 months (engaged 5 months)

Who eats more? Drew, hands down

Who said "I love you" first? Drew did.

Who is taller? Drew

Who sings better? I do, but Drew does like to belt it out whenever U2 is on...

Who is smarter? Probably Drew

Who does the laundry? We both do. I always do the folding and putting away though, cause I am a little particular with how my clothes are hung.

Who does the dishes? In the Sellers home if one does the cooking, the other does the dishes...so usually its Drew.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, kinda worked out that way; we set up our closets and mine was on the right, so that became my side of the bed.

Who pays the bills? I do.

Who mows the lawn? We don't have one.

Who cooks dinner? Usually me, but Drew sometimes surprises me with dinner.

Who is more stubborn? I think I am...but its something that I am working on!

Who kissed who first? Drew kissed me first.

Who asked who out? Drew-we were watching the season finale of 24 and he asked me to go to the new Kiefer Sutherland movie two days later.

Who proposed? Drew...12 destinations to go to which each had a special meaning to myself or us, where I received a rose and a note on where to go next. My favorite was my old apt. in the Elms where he had letters from my old roommates. It was a meaningful proposal that I will never forget.

Who is more sensitive? Me, hands down.

Who has more friends? Toss up...but I think Drew has more...I swear everywhere we go (no matter where we are in Utah) we meet someone that he or his family knows...pretty crazy!

Who has more siblings? Equal....we each at the oldest and have two younger siblings.
