So last weekend we had our first big snow storm, which I sadly didn't get any pictures of because my camera died! I was lucky to get these few! Anyway...we went up to SLC for the day to do some shopping and go to the Festival of Trees. It is a fundraiser that benefits the Children's Hospital. It was really neat! They had trees of every theme (big and small), as well as gingerbread houses, wreaths, creches, Children performances, and other decorations. It was really pretty and I am sad that my camera died before I could get more pictures. Oh well, I'll have to do that next year!

Trip to California
Kelsey has been getting after me (as well as Drew) for not posting for almost a month. Well, things have been very busy since then. I was lucky enough to have a week off of work, so I went to CA for Jackie's endowments and stayed through Thanksgiving. Drew joined me just in time for the holidays. Here are some pictures from the trip.
We also got to see Samantha Hall. Sam and I decided to surprise Drew and take him to his favorite burger place. He and Sam worked together this summer and went here about once a week. It was my first time and I have decided that they come quite close to In-n-Out.
The rest of the trip was a great time. We had an interesting Thanksgiving that's for sure. We all decided that we would sleep in Thanksgiving morning but I had to get up early enough to get Drew from the airport (he had to stay here the extra few days due to work). I got up, and for some reason my clock wasn't working. I go out to the family room and see that the fish tank light is off, no other clocks are on, and come to find out, the power has gone out. They didn't know when it would go back on. We made the best of it though, and started to decide where we would go if the power didn't come back on. Luckily by 11 am, the power was back on. Our breakfast was late (which was good so that Drew could partake with us all) as was dinner. But all in all, it was a great Thanksgiving break.
