Drew's Internship and another baseball game!

The director of the Hoover Institution loves the Indians. So everytime they play the A's, he buys a bunch of tickets. He was kind enough to offer some to me, so I decided to take the Zenger boys since I will soon be moving to Utah and won't be able to see them as often. I can't believe how fast time is flying...Jordan is now 14 and Jacob is 12. That means I've known them for 12 years...crazy!!! It was a great way to spend time with them and I am so proud of who they are growing up to be.

Jenna, Jacob, Jordan, and Drew leaving the stadium..the same night the Warriors and Jazz played....insane traffic!!!

Another great thing that happened last week, was that Drew officially signed to be a summer intern for a world renound Public Relations firm called A&R Edleman. He will be working on the Adobe account, and is excited to start his 12 week internship the day after Memorial Day.

Here is the delicious cake that our dear friend Samantha Hall brought over to celebrate the occasion. Thanks Sam!!! You're the best!!!

Take me out to the ball game!

Kirstin and Luke Adams would be very proud of us this summer. We have now been to two games this season (one A's, one Giants), and we will go to one more this weekend! A great way to start the summer off. Drew and I went with Bob, Kristine, and Jay Taylor, my sister Rachel, and Andy Bradshaw. The Giants played the Mets and the SF Giants won...basically all in one inning...9-3! We had the famous Gorden Beirsch Garlic Fries, and had to watch how close we spoke to each other because of our stinkly ol' mouths! (Put that in for you Jonnelle!!) Basically, we love that summer is here and that its so easy to go to games.

Anne's wedding

On Saturday, May 5, 2007 my sister Anne was married to Carson Orme. Here are some of the pictures from this event.

The Time Has Come!

HE IS HERE!!!! As of April 28, Drew has been in good ol' CA. He came out here with his best friend Chad for another good friend's wedding in Sacramento. Chad flew home to go to Texas for the summer and Drew moved into his apt. I was able to find him an apt. with not much trouble...its just a 10 minute walk from me! It is so great to finally be so close to one another. We have been busy getting him all moved in, doing my director duties for the musical, and spending time with friends and family. So the day after he came, he wanted to take Chad to an A's game. I was sick, so I didn't go into work. It was really hard to see the guys go off and have all the fun, but I was still feeling sick, but since I hadn't seen Drew in awhile, and the next week was going to be SO busy with family stuff, I took off with the boys to the game. It was very nice to spend time with him and the other friends that we were with. Drew's internship will be starting in a week--background checks and paperwork are taking up time. So until then, he is having to chill--something that he is NOT used to and NOT a fan of. But I think he is going to enjoy the free time. We would like to send out a CONGRATULATIONS to the Butlers on the birth of their third child and first daughter Brooklyn. Drew and I are very excited to meet her and to see the rest of the growing Butler family when we go visit them over Memorial Day weekend. We are thinking of Erin and Ryan, and hope that little Nicker-Wood comes soon.
